This is a rare book to find in its original form. It is 202 pages plus its paper cover plus the paper cover to the paperback (the cover to the cover is in very fragile and poor shape). The format is approximately 9″ x 6″. It comes with the foldout at the back showing the railroad routes.
Unfortunately it was printed on poor paper stock so that it is now falling apart. The pages are separating at the spine and are beginning to tear and chip.
We feel the volume deserves a restorer so we are listing it for a railroad lover or/and bibliophile to find and take to a professional who can work with it.
For those who note the name “Thompson” and “From Co-op” lightly pencilled on the front cover, this is a volume from the library of the late Harold W. Thompson, Professor at Cornell University through the 1960s. He gifted this volume to the seller, who was his assistant in the 1950s.
