PLEASE BEAR IN MIND THE AGE OF THIS ITEM AND CONDITION WILL GENERALLY REFLECT THAT .This listing is a brass souvenir I think from the ” HONG KONG MASS TRANSIT RAILWAY ” . Measures 3 1/2 ” across and is a sort of port hole shape and the top slides across to reveal what I believe is a Magnifying Glass . The top is embossed with the following ” HONG KONG MASS TRANSIT RAILWAY 30th SEPTEMBER , 1979 ” . Around the rim are various companies names all to do with railway supplies ie Vickers Limited – Metro Cammell Limited – Westinghouse Brake and Signal Company Limited – GEC Traction Limited .Presumably a souvenir from the opening on 30th September , 1979 of the HKMTR .I have never seen anything like this before !!!!!Condition………the actual glass is chipped around the edge and has some dirty marks…….the brass is uncleaned……….FULL REFUND IF YOU ARE NOT HAPPY WITH MY DESCRIPTION WHEN RECEIVED . ……………NOW THE BORING BITS………….. I have been collecting Railwayana and Transport related collectables along with Topography for over 30 years and now is the time to whittle it all down .
