IN CAB DRIVERS CONTROL LABELS FROM BRITISH RAILWAYS – ENGLISH ELECTRIC CLASS 55 DELTIC DIESEL LOCOMOTIVE 55 022 – D9000 ‘ROYAL SCOTS GREY’

A total of 29 in cab labels that were removed from Deltic loco 55 022 around 10 years ago and were replaced by newly made versions.

I have not detailed them exactly, but there are ones like ‘No. 1 Engine Start’, ‘Earth Fault’, ‘Demister’, No. 2 Engine Stopped’ etc. they can be identified easy enough by studying the images. To give some indication of size, each one has a depth of around 10mm.

These are original and probably fitted to the famous locomotive when it was constructed at English Electric’s Vulcan Foundry Works.

As can be seen they are in well used condition, which is hardly surprising considering the millions of miles that this locomotive will have travelled over the years, mainly between London Kings Cross and Edinburgh on trains such as the Flying Scotsman.

This is certainly an unusual chance to buy such interesting Deltic Railwayana.
