R. – Cammell , Laird & Cos. Sidings at PENISTONE ” . Measures 23 ” x 8 ” single sided and dates to 16th June , 1908 from the Engineers Office at Manchester by D.C.Rattray . Its a diagram with reference number 348 top right and at a Scale of 2 Chains to an inch . Shows Lancashire & Yorkshire Railway Boundaries – Lines from Denby Dale – Lines to Sheffield – PENISTONE STATION – HUDDERSFIELD JUNCTION CABIN – PENISTONE WEST CABIN – PENISTONE L&Y CABIN – Stations Buildings – Turntable – Platforms – GREAT CENTRAL RAILWAY LINES and various sidings etc . Has 309 and shows colour coded reference top right .A marvellous early L&YR diagram .Condition…….browned and has a trimmed left hand edge about 1 “…….one fold top to bottom in the middle……..some annotations……………NOW THE BORING BITS……….. I have been collecting Railwayana and Transport related collectables along with Topography for over 30 years and now is the time to whittle it all down .
