This is a LIMA 00 guage model of Rail Express Systems Class 47 Locomotive which was named ‘MANCHESTER AIRPORT – PROGRESS’ The naming ceremony took place at the airport on the 24th November 1995. This engine was the last to be named by Rail Systems and the first to be named at the station. Thid model is a limited edition numbered number 30. The certificate has been personally signed by Geoff Muirhead who was the Chief Executive and David Teal who if I remember correctly was the Operations Manager. This engine has not been removed from its packaging. It was acquired by me whilst employed at the airport. It will be posted to the winning bidder with Hermes who will track and fully insure. The postage quoted is the maximum. Please wait for MY INVOICE before paying
