This auction is for an original print, not a scan or reproduction, size 5 1/4″ x 3 1/2″ . As far as is known there are no other copies of this print in existence. The image shows LMS Jubilee class No. 45598 ‘Basutoland’, possibly at Derby shed. It was withdrawn for scrap in 1964.This photo would have been taken before the end of BR steam in 1968, and is not from the preservation era. It was probably taken during an official railtour or works/shed visit. I am sure that you won’t be disappointed but please only bid if you intend to complete the purchase.
