I am offering for sale my extremely rare LMS Railway staff magazineofficial Bound Volume for 1935 Surviving pre-Grouping staff magazines from the big four are now uncommon, but official complete year editions with index, are even more difficult to find, and this after years of searching, is the first time I have ever come across any. Containing the magazine content for the year of 1935, which is designated as volume X11, it is in superb condition.It contains both LMS technical information and news, and of course staff related matters by region, such as retirements etc. Being that they employed 235,000 staff, there was a lot going on, so a magazine was the only way to keep them up to date with Company news. I would welcome any contribution as to the possible origin and circulation of these volumes. Were they for general sale to the staff each year, or maybe kept only at the local Depots as general reference ?
