Description :Approximately A5 portrait format hardback with dustjacket.An early hardback book from Ian Allan featuring the photographic work of Dr P Ransome Wallis, used quite a lot by Ian Allan in his early years. A 96pp album of his black and white photographs sorted mainly by locomotive type and each accompanied by an extended and informative caption. Condition : The book itself is in good clean second hand condition but the disintegrating dust jacket has been strengthened by being glued to a sheet of thin paper which you may see in the scan where there is paper loss from the jacket. This ensures that the jacket will not deteriorate any further.Weight of item : 252gI allow additional weight to cover not  only the actual cost of the postage but to allow for the weight of the packaging, the cost of the packaging materials and the time taken to pack and post the item. The value of the stamp on the packet may be less as a result. UK postage and packing : 1.72 by Royal Mail second class large letter but post free to UK addresses.Overseas postage and packing : Please ask before paying as heavy items can be very costly to post or check the United Kingdom’s Royal Mail website for the weight of the item, plus 150g for packaging, to your country by your chosen rate.
