This auction is for a lot of two commemorative plates/plaques associated with railroads. One looks like a traditional plate. It is about 6 inches in diameter. The plate says 25th Anniversary, 1985, and Communication and Signal Division with the American Association of Railroads (AAR) logo in the center. The back says Made Especially for AAR 1985 and 417 of 500. There are a couple blemishes on the back, but it like like that was part of the firing process. The plate has silver colored lettering and edging. I do not see any cracks or chips on the plate. The other is a smoke colored glass oval which is concave which measures about 8 inches by about 6 inches. This has gold lettering and commemorates the centennial anniversary of the invention of the track circuit by W. Robinson. There is the Westinghouse Air Brake Company (WABCO) logo on the lower front. This plate does have some scratches and scuffs, but I do not see any cracks or scuffs. Please let me know if you need any additional information.
