This is an excellent illustrated advertising leaflet for the Sonnenberg Electric Cable Railway at Lucerne, Switzerland. It dates to 1925. The leaflet has an artist drawn panorama of the view from the railway – artist initials AG. There is also a 1925 timetable for the railway for the period 1st April to 1st October, details of fares, and brief details of the Grand Hotel at Sonnenberg. Text in English, French and German. Leaflet measures 9.2cm x 14.5cm when folded and opens out to 6 panels wide. Attractive front cover. An excellent piece of vintage travel memorabilia. The leaflet is in a very good minus condition. General light edge, fold end and corner rubs, when opened out there are tiny creases at right hand corners, rubbing and light grubbiness and light brown spotting along folds, tiny loss at some fold ends, light creases at bottom of one fold and at top of another fold, the odd light brown spot to item, very light vertical crease at top of front panel, the odd tiny mark and fleck here and there, the odd tiny bump to edges. Please check scans carefully as they help with the condition too.
