ITEM: This is a 1931 vintage and original, tin-topped, 12-month advertising calendar promoting the New York Central Lines railroad. This poster-sized calendar features artwork by Walter L. Greene of one of the many trains on the New York Central Line. The image is titled Morning on the Midway. Described as nature’s own highway, this train is taking its passengers along the water level route and offers up beautiful, scenic views of the country. Just a wonderful old piece of Great Depression-era advertising.
Measures 25″ x 27.25″ with an image size of 22.5″ x 17.75″
CONDITION: Fine condition with scattered edge wear and general storage/handling wear. Please use the included images as a conditional guide.
