Measures 18 ” x 12 ” single sided and has a reference top right . Shows the Whitby , Redcar & Middlesborough Union Railway and the North Eastern Railway as well . The Scarborough & Whitby opened around 1885 and was 20 miles in length compared to the other route that was 55 Miles ( Shown on the Map ) . Shows all Stations etc .This is an ORIGINAL Plan/Map and NOT A MODERN REPRINT .Extremely RARE and very unusual early Railway Map .Condition……dirty with some browning and foxing……..folded three times and will be posted folded……has a tear at the bottom of one fold about 4 ” and also at the top about 5 ” ( See Scan)FULL REFUND IF YOU ARE NOT HAPPY WITH MY DESCRIPTION WHEN RECEIVED . ……………NOW THE BORING BITS…………..
