Midland Railway Company Locomotive Crest Transfer Shield.The Transfer it’s self is in excellent condition, sadly there’s a couple of marks on the board due to the boards being stored on top of each other.Mounted on a board measuring 18″ x 18″.Please have a good look at the photos, any questions just ask thanks.

We have been asked if this is an original crest which if so is from a very early Midlans Railway Coach we think.We have no idea of knowing but it did come from a railway room in a house of a person who was in their late 80s who was a wealthy and well know railway Author and Biographer , also a fine scale modeller, which is how they came to us.
As you will see from our other items on auction had quite a few others lining the walls of his train room, just from the wood backing you can see this was mounted many years ago but we cannot guarantee if its an original or a repro if they make them ? , still a very smart piece of Artwork.
We have looked on Google images and got to be honest i can find many images of this particular type so you have to do your own research and make your mind up. If it is an Original it will be very collectable and sought after .
Of Course it will be very well protected before being posted.
We have others waiting to list but this was the Only Midland Railway crest amongst them.
