This is a book by Charles E Lee about the narrow gauge railways of North Wales. Published in April 1945 by the Railway Publishing Co Ltd of 33 Tothill Street Westminster London S.W.1 it was produced under the ‘Book Production War Economy Standard’ restrictions.
The railways covered are the Penrhyn, Festiniog, Nantllle, Padarn, Welsh Highland, Gorsedda Tramway, and Festiniog & Blaenau railways. There are maps of the Padarn, Festiniog (including detail maps of Portmadoc & Blanenau Festiniog) Welsh Highland, and Penrhyn lines. The Croesor and Gorsedda tramways are also shown on the Festiniog & Welsh Highland maps. There are also numerous illustrations.
