On offer here is a colour 35mm type negative and its corresponding 5 x 3.5 inch gloss finish photograph. This one is a view from the site of the former Royton L&YR station in 2000. Built by the Lancashire & Yorkshire Railway in 1864 and finally closed in 1966, the trackbed was on the grassed area in the foreground and was on the end of a spur leading off the Oldham loop line. (Note- not to be confused with Royton Junction station, on the loop line itself, and which was renamed Royton in 1978!).Exact date pic was taken is pencilled on photo back. Traditional photo taken by myself (not just a photocopy or digital production). FULL USE OF COPYRIGHT GOES TO BUYER! I have never offered this shot for publication in magazines etc before and dont normally print copies, so it is a one-off. Prints can still be made from 35mm negatives today, which is included in the sale. Condition is good. Uncreased and no bad scratches on the negative. Please note: an ebay ID and/or watermark on plastic sheet has been overlaid on the photo to deter illegal copying -this may show the odd extra line (ie from the edge of the plastic sheet) but will NOT appear on the actual item. Photo has never been mounted.Will be securely packed. Am disposing of items surplus to requirements or of themes I no longer collect.
