Here’s another auction by Lone Star Trains and Collectibles, Your Classic Era Train Headquarters! Very Interesting Paper Item! You are bidding on a scarce original railway bill for freight from the New York, Pennsylvania and Ohio Railroad, precursor of the famous Erie. The bill is a form from 1886. The bill measures 9 5/8″ x 3 7/8″ and is HAND WRITTEN in cursive and discolored a little from age, as you can see from the photo. The bill was for some freight by consignee Dr. Tucker who was shipping 2 barrels of apples and 7 boxes of canned food. It is on form number P70-12-86-72000. The bill is mostly quite clean except for the bit of age yellowing and some edgewear. With the period handwriting, this is a neat piece. I’ll ship it in a plastic sleeve with a hard cardboard card for your easy storage. See our other auctions for more railroadiana items.
