This is a nice early Bemis & Call Company adjustable wrench . It is marked with both the name Bemis & Call Springfield MASS and circle logo on the opposite side. It is also stamped B & M RR for the Boston & Maine Railroad. The handle is good and of solid metal, void of any splits or cracks and the jaw moves smoothly. The jaws open to a bout 2 3/4″ and it has an overall length o f about 15″. It weighs about 5 pounds. A very nice early wrench for your collection, or for your use. No rust, but lots of dings from being used as a hammer, as Im sure all of them were.
