“NIGHT KING”
Here is a very large framed print, personally signed by the renowned railway artist Terence Cuneo.
This is a very rare chance to acquire a large and immaculate personally signed print by Terence Cuneo of Great Western Railway No.6000 “King George V” at speed with an overnight train.
What a wonderful present for any fan of the Great Western Railway!
This is a large print, with the image size being 90cm x 47cm. The print is double mounted in a superb glazed frame with overall dimensions of 122cm x 79cm.
Secondary photos in this listing show Terence Cuneo’s personal signature on the print along with a dedication to Andrew Bootman. These illustrations do, inevitably, have some reflections from the glass – sorry – but I promise that any stray marks that you may see in these illustrations do not exist on the original.
I will gladly supply further photos and/or any other details if requested – please do not hesitate to ask. Personal inspection is also welcome for those within reasonable range of the Glasgow area.
This is a large and fairly heavy mounted print, and I will do what I can to make it as easy as possible for you to acquire it. It would be simplest – and cheapest – if it were to be collected from me, 20 miles west of Glasgow.
However I am willing to deliver it to most addresses in Central or Southern Scotland within about 80/100 miles [includes Edinburgh, Dundee, Perth, Pitlochry, Stirling, Oban, Dumfries and Ayr, or even Carlisle – do ask for any others] for the cost of driving. Also I travel by road down the M74, M6 and M5 to the Cheltenham/Gloucester area every so often and would be willing to take it with me and arrange for it to be handed over to you somewhere more or less on the way at a mutually convenient location. My next trip is likely to be in September/October 2019.
Finally, if the rail travel costs were covered, I could probably take it anywhere in Britain within day trip range by train to hand it over in person ~ so even Euston Station in central London is possible with with Virgin’s high speed Pendolino ~ or possibly Bristol! Please do get in touch with me and I’ll see what can be achieved to suit us both!
For the safety of this superb picture, I very much recommend one of these methods so that the framed picture is safely in my hands until it reaches you. Now that I am retired, the time taken is not a problem, and I just need the out-of-pocket costs covered.
If really necessary, I could remove it from the frame and send it separately in a strong tube. However if it impossible to arrange a suitable meeting place, I am willing to have the complete glazed frame wrapped as well as possible and arrange for a courier to deliver it to you.
Details will be agreed with the buyer and confirmed and/or adjusted once the buyer’s exact requirements are clear.
