The engine was built by the Yorkshire Engine Co. to work on a 15gauge line and entered service in 1931, albeit then named Doctor Syn. In 1948,having been renamed Winston Churchill after the war-time Prime Minister, shewas sent to an exhibition in Toronto, Canada. She remains in service eon theline to this day.CONDITION: Excelllent clean & unmarked.
