This is a horse drawn trolley bell from the Brooklyn City RR Co. of NYC. It’s all original. This bell was hung from the horse’s neck to announce the coming of the trolley. The two photos that accompany it are general in nature and not intended to represent this bell. My guess is that it dates from the 1890’s to 1910’s.
