This is an original old advertisement (size approx 12″ x 8″) for C.C. Wakefield & Company Ltd of London, promoting their lubrication systems for valves, cylinders and axle-boxes and featuring a Buenos Ayres Western Railway steam locomotive.
Carefully removed from a copy of “The Railway Gazette” dated 1931, it’s in good pre-owned condition with minor signs of handling commensurate with its age; ideal for framing, it will be posted in a card-backed envelope for added protection.
