OLYMPICS 1968 National RAILWAYS of MEXICO Travel GUIDE Train Schedules New/Unused $3 S&H-US US ENGLISH
A 24-page Spring-Summer Railroad travel guide for Mexico City and the rest of Mexico during the Olympics in the Summer of 1968. Cover shows the Aztec Calendar Stone which is in a museum in Mexico City. The booklet measures folded 8.75″ x 4.25″ and opens to about 8.5″ square and printed in black & red. It is in new condition with no marks. The staples have rusted a bit though. It contains entry regulations (which were fairly simple back then), a guide to Mexico City including a central city map, a list of restaurants (only a few of which still exist; I have been there well over 100 times), a simple Spanish word and number guide, then NINE pages of train schedules (to Mexico from the US and within Mexico) with a system map and a tourist points illustrated map in between. There are a few more pages of points of interest for nearby locations. Well done and accurate for the time.
