Rare Original Vintage London Underground Poster
‘London’s Underground Always At Your Service’1932 Maurice BeckOwn a piece of history.
Size is about 38 x 25 inches.
The poster shows a photograph of 55 Broadway, the Undergrounds headquarters. This building was said to be the tallest building in London when it was finished in 1929.The poster designer was Maurice Beck who lived from 1886 to 1960. He was the chief photographer for the British Vouge publication.This poster is included in the book, ‘ London’s Transportation Posters. A Century of Art and Design’.
This poster was obtained many years agoon a trip to England.Will be sent in a mailing tube.
