New Listing! El Paso Streetcar/SunMetro remanufactured PCC 1506 is at Cleveland Square for the El Paso Streetcar Opening Day Celebration on November 9, 2018. El Paso chose to remanufacture six of their 1937-vintage PCCs, which had been stored since 1974, rather than buy new low floor cars for their new two-loop route. They were remanufactured by Brookville Equipment Corp. 1506 represents the color scheme worn by the original PCCs in the 1970s, their last decade of operation. 1506 is passing the crowd of celebrants as it prepares to travel on the red carpet in front of the reviewing stand.
5 x 7 print from raw digital image. Printed on highest quality glossy photo paper. Mailed in a flat brown manila envelope. Signed (discreetly) by the photographer on the back of the photo. 2018 Peter Ehrlich. (The displayed image has a watermark, the photographer’s name and scanned print markings on it to prevent unauthorized copying, but the texts are not on the print surface itself.)
