An original Railway Station Way Out signDating back to the mid part of the 20th century, circa 1950s, this is a genuine sign with an authentic patina. The condition is great considering its age. We love the weathered look, the splattering of enamel loss and the original wooden frame. Originally used on a railway station platform, the sign is single sided in the recognisable Green, depicting the Southern regionThere are some rusty and tatty areas, but the condition of the sign in general is nice and clean. The writing and subject matter is majorly in view, therefore making this a great collectable or an alternative piece of wall decor. The sign is structurally great with some obvious tatty areas, paint chipping and rust. The wooden frame shows some surface scars and wood chipping, yet nothing that is detrimental to its look or indeed structure.
