Outstanding Artwork by Geoffrey Day. “How Trains Work” Hutchinson Book 1950s Vintage This is essentially a children’s art book explaining how the Steam Railway of the 1950s operated. The artist, Geoffrey Day, has really captured the feel of the period and one has to say that the artwork is outstanding. It is one of the best books of this type that I have ever seen. The landscape format soft cover book is sized 9.9″ x by 7.9″ inches and contains 24 printed pages including the covers. Condition: slightly bumped on the bottom right corner, a little worn around the edges, and a little thumbed and used, but still very presentable with all the artwork in first class condition.
