First off, the last three photos have nothing to do with this sale. I just wanted to show that this painting isn’t an imaginary place. It’s a real old time train station. Two of the photos show the same station at vastly different times. The very last photo shows a train wrech just outside the station and in Piqua, Ohio, city limits. The train derailment was in 1945. So this station is very very old.
The painting is an original watercolor. It’s an outstanding composition. The mat and frame are in very good condition, as stated above. It’s winter time, and the snow is deep. So the tracks parallel to the station are covered in snow. The tracks behind the station remain in service, so it seems to me. This is a beautiful watercolor that will complement any train “Guy,” or “Gal,” very well.
I will package this painting with exceptional care for shipping. I have shipped many paintings throughout the USA., and I know how to do that safely. Shipping provider: USPS., or FedEx.
