PLEASE BEAR IN MIND THE AGE OF THIS ITEM AND CONDITION WILL GENERALLY REFLECT THAT .This listing is an Engineers Drawing/Plan produced by ” Eastern Counties Railway ” . Measures 16 ” x 12 ” single sided and dates to about 1860 . It is a Bridge Plan and shows various elevations some highlighted in colour . Although not marked ECR I know it is as it came with others that were titled .Lord Braybrooke owned Audley End House and in 1860 a proposed Branch was put forward from Audley End to Saffron Walden in North West Essex , it was passed on the 18th May , 1863 and opened on 23rd November , 1865 . Because it was on Lord Braybrooke’s land an agreement was made to put his Coat of Arms on top of the tunnel mouth . There are some pencil annotations on the drawing showing the C of A . It is not signed or dated .Condition………has been lightly folded once recently which is how it will be posted……….FULL REFUND IF YOU ARE NOT HAPPY WITH MY DESCRIPTION WHEN RECEIVED . ……………NOW THE BORING BITS…………..
