Vintage Uniform coat button marked as shown with a scovill backmark. In “Transportation Uniform Buttons ” the Transitvolume VanCourt lists this button on page 173and it is pictured in figure 66/15. VanCourt has nodate for these buttons but the name was changed by 1917 so it’s earlier than that. Buttonmeasures about 7/8ths inches across. Button is in excellentused condition. The face has some very slight surface dirt and almost nowear. Overall excellentcondition. Take a good look at the photos as piece is being sold as-is.
