A card covered booklet, issued by the ‘Big Four’ British railway companies, entitled ‘Prevention of Accidents to Staff Engaged in Railway Operation’. It contains 32 pages (size approx. 7 1/4 inches by 4 3/4 inches). It has illustrated information to staff on methods of operation to minimise the chance of accidents. It is not dated, but is thought to date from the 1930s. It has rusted staples, a fold mark down the centre, the centre pages have become detached and it has minor marks and signs of use.
