This is a good example of a a 7 x 5 soft-cover 52-page booklet titled Prevention of Accidents to Men working on or about The Permanent Way. It was published by the Institute of Accident Prevention, Hanwell, London and I assume was issued to railway workers. It is very informative, and through clear text and some great photographs it shows how not to be killed or seriously injured when working on or around railway lines / around trains / depots etc. It is not dated, but from the appearance of the men in the photographs I think it is from around 1920-1925 or so. The corners are a little dog-eared but is printed on good quality paper which has not deteriorated and so is in good clean condition.
