The Zephyr operated between Chicago, Illinois and Oakland, California. A bonus to traveling on this train are the unique “Vista Dome” cars which provide a panoramic view of the scenery from the top of the cars. Myname is Marc Desobeau and I am a railroad painter and illustrator. I have been creating railway masterpieces for over 25 years. When I’m notin the studio you can often find me behind the throttle of a Union Pacific Railroad freight train. My passion for trains was kindled in my boyhood years while looking up to my Grandfather and his profession as aLocomotive Engineer for the Southern Pacific Railroad.
