This is issue 10 (winter 1986/87) of the Railscene railway video magazine.
The opening scene shows 6201 “Princess Elizabeth” on a steam special on the Settle & Carlisle line.
This is followed by the Newslines section covering the January 1987 snow with Class 33s and 73s assisting 4-CEP EMUs on the Maidstone East line.
Other highlights include a coal train to Ratcliffe Power Station hauled by 58041, Christmas steam specials from Marylebone with 777 “Sir Lamiel” and 4472 “Flying Scotsman”, Portuguese steam finale, the Severn Valley Railway, steam in the late 1950s, and 89001 on test on the West Coast Main Line.
The picture quality is still very good in view of the age of this cassette. The cover also has a slight tear at one corner but is otherwise still in reasonable condition.
Running time approx. 1 hour 54 minutes.
NB This is a VHS-PAL video cassette, NOT a DVD.
