This is issue 6 (winter 1985/86) of the Railscene railway video magazine.
The opening scene shows “City of Truro” and “Hagley Hall” double heading a Santa special on the Severn Valley Railway.
This is followed by the Newslines section covering electrification of the Hastings, Cambridge and East Grinstead lines and the East Coast and Great Eastern Main Lines.
Other highlights include a cab ride from Carlisle to Settle on 47474, steam in Brazil, the Kent & East Sussex Railway, and an archive film of the Somerset & Dorset Railway.
The review of 1985 at the end includes coverage of the GWR 150th anniversary celebrations, the Stewarts Lane depot open day, and the APT.
The picture is slightly fuzzy but is still of acceptable quality in view of the age of this cassette.
Running time approx. 1 hour 30 minutes.
NB This is a VHS-PAL video cassette, NOT a DVD.
