From myfather’s extensive collection of railwayana comes this BR Station Master’s cap. It’s marked J Compton Sons & Webb Ltd, London, 1960.
I’m not sure of the size Overall, it’s inreally good condition with wear confined to the leather lining.I only realised when i picked it up to take photos that the leather band has pulled away from the button at some point; see the last photo. It stays in place as-is, but could really do with a stitch or glue to effect a long-lasting repair I have other railwaycaps for sale, please see my other itemsI am of course happyto combine postage
