Here we have…
A rare original vintage British Railways Black Board enamel sign.
A large blackboard topped with the maroon totem enamel denoting its former use by BR in the midland region.
A pretty rare survivor, showing its age a little but a good looking & very usable piece & 100% original.
Likely early 1950’s
Approx cm x cm.
Condition: Wear commensurate with age as pictured, as found, not restored in any way. The blackboard has two cuts underneath the maroon area & is backed with two strips of wood. More images to follow.
