Vintage metal Locomotive figural paperweight made as an advertisement for the Reading Railway System back in the 1930’s-50’s.
The Locomotive is marked “2100” on the side, and the coal car is marked “READING”. The base reads “Reading Railway System” with “Reading Lines” on both ends.The underside has two screws which used to attach this to a clipboard; the screws are removable allowing the paperweight to sit on flat surface.
It measures 5″ long by 1.5″ wide by 1.25″ tall.
