Spear & Jackson Steam Locomotive Tender Coal Rake (or fork)
I inherited this Spear & Jackson rake (or is it a fork?) and had no idea what it was for until I saw an identical one being used to rake coal forward on a steam locomotive tender. Ive no idea if that is what it was designed for, but it certainly appeared to do the job perfectly.
The rake is approx 1.95m longThe steel rake head is 20cm wideThe bent down prongs are 20cm long
I have put collection only but could possibly get it shipped if really necessary although it would be expensive due to its shape and length.
Cash on collection preferred Collection is easy as we are in Trowell close to both junctions 25 & 26 on the M1 motorway
