SOUTHERN STEAM:
We look at the October 1986 running on the Salisbury to Yeovil main line, featuring 35028 Clan Line ‘back home again’, 6998 Burton Agnes Hall rekindling memories at Salisbury, and 4498 Sir Nigel Gresley reliving the 1948 Locomotive Exchanges.
ARCHIVE FILM:
‘Cam’ Camwell’s historic 1956 and 1957 film shows us the last BR days of the Welshpool and Llanfair, West Country branches, two Castles on the Severn Bridge, Tyneside Lines, Border Lines, etc.
THE SEVERN VALLEY REVISITED:
The Southern part of this famous line, in September 1986, featuring two Jubilees, the Coal Tank, a Jinty, various GW locos etc. at Kidderminster, Bewdley, on the Victoria Bridge and at Arley.
THE DNS:
Kevin Robertson gives us a glimpse of this long-closed railway, with the aid of colour slides and very rare archive film.
NEWS:
Locomotive exchanges on preserved lines (5572, 1466, Mountaineer etc), Kolhapur at Southport, Black 5’s on the S&C, 7F at Sheffield, etc., etc.”
This video has been tested and is in very good condition. The case and sleeve are also in very good condition.
