JET SET – TONBRIDGE TO BRIGHTON CAB RIDE. A superb cab ride/driver’s eye view from Locomaster. This programme features one of the loco-hauled Rail Head Treatment Trains operated by GB Railfreight, as it sets out from Tonbridge Yard to cover parts of Surrey and Sussex, hauled by a top & tailed Class 20 and Class 73. The journey is in three parts. Part 1 is from Tonbridge Yard to South Croydon hauled by the Class 73. Part 2 is from South Croydon to Littlehampton hauled by the Class 20. And Part 3 is from Littlehampton to Preston Park hauled by the Class 73. Despite the title of this cab ride, the journey doesn’t actually take us into Brighton station itself, but to Preston Park which is only about a mile north of Brighton station. The journey was filmed back in October 2015. Features an information commentary by David Maxey. Running time 1 hour 50 minutes. Great journey, great DVD!
