We have for sale a lot of 1,780 black and white train photographs. These are all photographs of trains, train cars and a few photos of depots and equipment. The vast majority are train engines. This came from a clean non-smoking estate where the previous owner was a train chaser for many years as a hobby. This is part of his personal collection. These all look to me like reproduction scans of the original photograph. These are not the original photographs! The scans for the most part are very well done. When you look at the photograph with a loupe, I really dont see any dots at all. At first when I saw them I thought they were original. But the paper that theyre printed on is just too thin. Most of the paper does say Kodak on the backside. The photographs are thin paper and have a tendency to want to curl up as shown in some of the pictures. This is a really nice extensive collection that really needs to be put in some sort of book to keep these photograph scans safe and protected. We have 1,685 3-1/2 x 5. You will also get 65 5×7 and 30 3-1/2 x 3-1/2 for a total of 1,780. Those measurements are all approximate since he scanned them and cut them out himself. At $149.95 including freight, that is less then nine cents a piece.
