This is an original pre-owned 44-page issue of “Trains Illustrated” magazine (size approx 8″ x 5″), volume VII number 6, dated June 1954. It features articles on the Abingdon Branch, the Tees-Tyne Pullman, North British Railways 4-4-0s and a postscript to the Somerset & Dorset articles; for a full list of contents, check the second scan.
It’s in good condition for its age; whilst the cover has a very short tear at the bottom of the spine, the contents are very good, unmarked and undamaged and the staples are intact and virtually rust-free.
It will be posted in a card-backed envelope for added protection.
