This is a very rare and fascinating Accident book for Wivenhoe station Essex (Near Colchester) with hand written entries from 1929 to 1970. 4″ x 7″ by approx. 0.5″ thick. Was kept in first aid box and shows stock requirements for replacements. 59 pages of handwritten entries and details of accidents / injuries reported, dated and signed. This a very interesting and historic document highlighting the dangers of the steam era. It belongs to a retired station master who was based in the area for a significant career span and forms part of his own collection of memorabilia.
