For all you railroad aficionados out there, here is a special little something to frame on your wall.
This is a very nice payment voucher from the Colorado Springs and Cripple Creek Railroad district requesting payment from the Colorado Midland Railway Co of Denver, Colorado.
Voucher number 299L, dated July of 1909, for the grand total of $180.52 for supplies. This nice piece of history is exceptional, as it is over one hundred years old, and still in excellent readable condition. Signed in several spots by accountants in both companies, this would look great framed on the wall. Watch my auctions and my store, as I will be placing more of these beautiful items online from different railroads.
Measures 8 1/2 by 7 1/4 inches, and is held in a protective plastic sleeve. When shipped, I will place it in a sturdy envelope with stiff cardboard liners to help protect it further. Actual shipping weight will be about 6 ounces, with proper packing and protection. Check my photos for full descriptions of this great item.
