Here we have a vintage restaurant menu from ONE SINGLE DAY IN TIME from one of the Gateway Coffee Shops located in Chicago at that time, either the one at the Chicago and North Western Train Station or the one at the LaSalle Street Station. The Union News Company operated Gateway Restaurants “in Leading Rail Terminals of the Nation.”
Vintage: dated Friday, August 21, 1953
Condition: Our photographs reveal the condition best and are the most important part of the description–please zoom in on them and examine them carefully. Unused, and in excellent vintage condition. Light overall shelfware with light scuffs to the green cover. Very clean, with no marks, tears, holes, stains or funky odors. Non-smoking environment, and we’ll let you know if any of our vintage items smell like it (or anything else) from activities they may have been involved in before we found them.
