This was my Grandfather’s last Pullman Conductor uniform before he retired in the 1970’s. He was a 20 year railroad man, and always proud of it. There are no sizes listed but he was a big man, over 6′ but never heavy. Shoulder to shoulder, in the back, the jacket measures 18″. The pants are somewhere around 32/32. While routing around in the pockets, I also found his tie, which is included with the offering.
This set consists of a jacket, tie, vest and uniform pants. It has been stored in air conditioning for many years, but still has some damage to collar and other small spots, which are pictured. Vest also has various stains from moisture and from sweat. Overall, a really nice item from a bygone era.
