Vintage nostalgic book dating from 1951, Watching the Certain Things, a farmer’s (Ralph Wightman) observations all the way along the line from Exeter to London Waterloo. Is there still ‘an enormous milk factory’ at Chard Junction – indeed is there still a station here? or many of the other places along the line for that matter! Complete with dust jacket and plenty of foxing -brown age stains- as befits its age; complete and in good condition.  A good read; 151 pages with some illustrations. Private sale, post free in UK.
