Vintage Railway station concourse Light, made by William Sugg & Sons. apparently removed from Kings Cross railway station during refurbishment – the original paint was a very faded and tarnished dark blue, with red stripes – the same as the old British Rail intercity locomotive engines.

 

25 inch diameter canopy.

 

Thick perspex glass bowl – a few minor scratches and scuffs but no cracks or holes.

 

Working condition – runs on 240 volt domestic mains supply., and has a 100 watt white bulb.

 

The pole is 54 inches (4 ft 6 inches) high and is made from treated steel, 42.4mm in diameter -wall fitting brackets/clamps are easily available on line. The base mounting/joining spigot has an internal diameter of 79mm – compatible with a standard 76mm lamp post. 

 

Bulky and heavy item – may deliver within a reasonable distance at cost, otherwise cash on collection.
