Here we have a scarce vintage railroadiana/train collectible — an unused single-page form, labeled on the upper left corner as “C&NW Form 2432,” a “Requisition for Bar Supplies.” No date, and we weren’t able to use the list of brand name products to narrow down the date to anything other than post-1926, which seems pretty obvious. We tried, but were utterly defeated. Perhaps someone with nothing better to do, and if, like us, you’ve been sheltering at home for a million months, there’s got to be a few of you looking for a challenge — you can do some research and let us know what you come up with. 🙂 Thank you to the fantastic ebayer who sent us this nugget of helpfulness: According to wikipedia, Salem cigarettes weren’t introduced until 1956, so we have it narrowed down to post-1956. Another possible clue: Aspirin is the only painkiller on the form. Tylenol was introduced to the market in 1955, and Advil wasn’t introduced until sometime in the 1970s. When did Tylenol become the go-to painkiller over aspirin?

If there’s something in particular you’re seeking for your collection, please message us your want list, and we’ll move any that we have up to the top of the pile for listing.
