On thick paper.This map came, with others from the Essex area (see other listings), originally from the British Railways Chief Civil Engineers Parliamentary Office (where they had been taken over from the previous railway companies on nationalisation), and have the railway line and area owned by the Railway Company highlighted in green. Any footpaths, bridges crossing railway land are shown. Notes are made on the map over the years relating to land changes, leases, etc. The Railway Company marked on this map is London Midland & Scottish Railway London Tilbury and Southend Section. Shown on this map are Wennington, Wennington Marshes, Purfleet Rifle Ranges (part) with Tramway shown, Rainham Marshes. Tears to edges which have been repaired on back with brown paper tape. Some dust soiling. Sent rolled in a postal tube, postage charge includes cost of tube. I have 150 of these maps for areas in Essex, so if the one you are interested is not listed please ask.
